I sold my bugs 15 years ago so he could keep his, and I'm tired of waiting to hear that happy chirp issuing from the garage.
Excellent thanks Dusty. Hiking the coastal trail in Cornwall. Chilly, sloppy and often damn.....but fun. And the heart seems to work.

I was there yesterday Dusty. Where 'Doc Martin' was set. Nice in winter....not sue about summer. Hiking is tough work and muddy but the pubs help.

Comon fess up Lannis. Are you a cream then jam or a jam then cream man - we need to know
Although it seems that Cornwall and Devon may actually go to war over that question, I must admit that I'll take it either way and be deliriously happy, especially after a long walk on the moors. We took a long walk on Dartmoor and got lost in the fog, as is proper.I'm afraid that if blind-tested I wouldn't be able to tell the order of the cream and jam, so I'll have to leave it with people of more refined tastes ...Lannis
I think that there's a job for you in the Diplomatic Corp Lannis
Just got back from a 3 day jaunt around the sort of top of the South Island. I wanted to see the Kaikoura Coast road which they managed to sort of open in time for Christmas, I had been closed for over a year after a series of earthquakes decimated the road and rail link to Picton The alternate route to the Cook Strait ferry added another 140kms ans about 3 hours to the trip. Also wanted to check out the damage to Westport and the road around Punakaiki which got hammered when that massive moon we just had coincided with tropical storm Fahi and a massive on-shore wind. The resulting storm surge was devastating. There is still a massive amount of work to be done on it but it should be great when it is all finished. I went Christchurch - Picton - back to Blenheim-Westport - Greymouth - Reefton and back to Christchurch with a few side trips thrown in. Didn't keep track of the distance but it would have been a bit over 1200kms. Guzzimodo ran like a Swiss watch and turned in 64.6mp(imp)gallon. Weather was great and a good trip all round, in spite of the numerous holdups for road works.
