I've noticed during some rides but not all, that I lose all feeling to my penis. I don't want to blame it on my new V7 as it happened once or twice on my old bike too (ducati). I was puzzling over it yesterday when I got home (yes, I'll be there soon darling) and think it might be caused by a big fat seam in the terminal (under ass) part of my "bargain" kevlar jeans. Has this happened to anyone else?

Thinking about it, a full day in the saddle sometimes makes my legs go a bit numb, but "Little Griso" has never been affected ::)

As WB stated go to the doc and get checked, if you are over 45 it may be your prostate telling you to get up........ ;-T

When I first saw the post I was sure this was one of those penis size is inversely proportional to the amount of noise but......Bicycle yes and can't remember a problem on the motorcycle. :BEER:

Take it very seriously. It could be the start of a very serious condition. Look up *cyclist syndrome*, pudendal neuralgia, pudendal neuropothy, or PNE. That numbness could be a warning sign or not? Good luck.

Being sensible for a moment it does sound as if it might be potentially serious. Prostate problems are not to be sneered at. Have you had the old 'Finger up the Chuff' examination? No, it is a bit undignified and it's certainly not enjoyable but it's better than not knowing. If there is any suspicion that something is amiss it'll be time to go and get the 'Big Black Snake' stuffed up yer blurter. Also undignified but really completely painless as long as you have yourself sedated. The worst part is being nailed to the dunny for half a day or night before the proceedure!

Really I wasn't "poking fun" at this subject at all. I've had my yearly prostrate exam every year for quite some time. It's no big deal. But it is a procedure I'm happy to have behind me ;D

Between the chuff, guff, and other stuff, I'd try the different pants first. Is it only after you ride? if you sit in the office chair all day does it stand at attention? The positive out of this is that your wife comes calling. I only thought that happened in the movies. :'(

Yes it can happen.
Just like your hand or thumb can lose feeling while riding. You have to re adjust your self so you are not sitting on a nerve. That is the cause of your foot "going to sleep" ,you have pinched a nerve. It may be your seating position or too tight clothing that is applying pressure to a nerve. :'(

Make sure your clothing is loose and not constrictive in that area while on the bike. you must feel "free" comfortable or it can happen. ;D

By the my Prostate is fine but I have experienced this and if i stop and readjust my junk all is fine. ;-T
