Update: Daytona: repeated coil failure - spark plug lead contact poor

Quick update on my coil woes.
After swapping in new plugs & leads the Daytona is running sweet.
Testing the old leads with plugs I found that a slight pressure/tilt on the plug was enough to break continuity. This was only one of the leads, the other was fine with the same pressure.
This may or may not have contributed to the coil failure but I'm happy to say it's a possible explanation.

Yeah, I thought it easier to put the info in the subject for anyone who was interested rather than bumping the thread (

).
Perhaps not my best decision?
