Breva 1100 head/cylinder torque
« on: April 18, 2015, 01:37:10 PM »
I am putting back on my heads and cylinders today/tomorrow, and was wondering what I should be torquing them to, as that info was not in the service manual.
Anyone know the specs?

Thanks,
Evan

There are two torque values, one for the stud nuts and one for the bolts. You also tighten them first to a preluminary torque value which I'll have to look up and then use a RTG. It's +90+90 for the nuts and +90 for the bolts.

Thanks for the reply and looking up the torque

Radial torque guage.

Preliminary torque 11.06 ft/lbs or 15Nm for both nuts and bolts then two steps for the nuts and one for the bolts.
