It's the natural progression from what I hear, V7, V7II, V7III.  It just has to be 65hp.

But the Aero guy, says it will twist the, no, he said he wouldn't warranty it.

That's irrelevant. If it's not from the factory, it's just white noise from small block fanboys. ::)

This is what happens when airhead BMW riders infiltrate  what used to be a wholly Moto Guzzi forum because they no longer accept the direction their beloved BMW factory has gone for now on.  If they could they would still ride new airhead BMWs but it's no longer possible.   So they are forced to come here with no other options.  But at the same time they can't let go of their real feelings.  :'(

Thank goodness I've got an old one AND a new one! ☺

I just counted. I've had 15 motorcycles over the last 36 years. More than some, but I guess still less than other guys here. The last 3 have been Guzzis and I'm sure the next one will be too (in fact, I'd love to have 2 Eldorados, one old, one new!).

But ALL motorcycles interest me!

I have a friend with an R90S and another with an R100R PD. I wish I had both of them! And I wish I still had all the other bikes I've sold over the years, Honda's, Suzuki, Yamaha, BMW, Harley, Laverda. Motorbikes are great!

As Nick Lowe said, "What's so funny 'bout peace love and understanding?"

You know I want to "try" a bmw, I really do.
I've never owned one of their motorcycles, and I did redo a low miles 99 M3 for the ex-wife.
But they just seem pricey, high maintenance, bloated with electronics that can fail, rear ends that are questionable, did I mention pricey even used? (Geesh guys want $5K for a R1150GS with 40 or 50K miles on them)...
It seems like their engineering is so good that their economic model in their cars is that they require a 2nd commissioning at (here's a shocker) the miles the warranty goes out.. why?
So that their target white collar audience will turn around and trade it in for "fear" of a break down for the newest model.
Its actually a great economic model for them.. there's a lot of BMW cars on the road..
Personally I just think while they are amazing cars to drive.. dang they've got to be pricey from a total cost of ownership perspective.
I assume that's true with their motorcycles as well.

Ok that's my little take on BMW bikes and cars.

I think that the airhead riders fit in just fine around here.    There are a lot of Guzzi riders that can't let go of the past either.   This IS a big part of the appeal for many here.

I love Guzzi, and I would also go with the Le Mans. But I can still like the R90. There are a lot of nice bikes out there (mostly the older stuff though!)

It's nice but looks like half of its swing arm got knackered. Not a delightful looking wheel hub.

I'll tell you what, when it comes time to change a rear tire, that's a BEAUTIFUL, DELIGHTFUL looking hub.   Just like on my "cobby-looking" Stelvio.

Compared to the agonizing campaign of removing mufflers, saddlebags, turning the bike on its side, taking off chains, and all the other impedimentia of a "normal" bike, I LOVE this setup ....

I always enjoyed the R80ST except for the small gas tank.  ;-T
I preferred  the R65 due to the larger tank.
