I've come in my car AND I've stayed in a motel in town.  You might be able to stay dry under the pavilion unless there's 12" of rain flowing through!  But, I hear the weather's gonna be perfect this year.     Hope to see you there!

 Yep , those 'lectric blankies are really nice on a cool night . One year I was heating up rocks around the fire , and some of the guys were giving me funny looks . I explained it was to warm up the foot end of my sleeping bag , they still looked at me funny

 Seriously , well , sorta anyway , the weather is looking good , the roads are clean and ready for us, and the Louisiana boys are coming up . If you don't come it ain't our fault .

Just finished a servuce on "Ol' Blue". Oil changed, drive line and front end greased, tires pumped up. Should be good to go!

I slacked and haven't called camp ground yet for a spot. Don't really need a full r/v spot. I'd be fine off behind the shower house. Maybe within 100 ft of power would be nice. Wasn't there a r/v trailer parked back there last year? I will try and call next week. But I gotna bad case of CRS. So......

I may be there late wed night. Being back on days I could leave right from work. Usually get back from run early afternoon. Will have to see how work that week goes.

Planning to go to Calvins Memorial deal too. Might need to ride shotgun with someone in a cage.

Are you planning on doing a meal. Pork chops at CV were spectacular.  Even if you're not planning on cooking, bring your can cooker if you have room.

If you are still interested in fishing rod, bring your favorite reel, and we'll kick around some ideas.

 21 miles from the camp ground to Cedar Lake , lovely spot , hear the fishing is good . Don't like that idea , the Beaver's Bend River isn't far away .

Ken Bunch told me he may do a fly through on Saturday on his old Shovelhead. Which means we may or may not see him....... Then he is off to some doings in Harrah, OK. I' m debating on which bike to bring. IF the off road trails are easy for an old man, I would like a go with the XT, BUT I ain't no Malcolm Smith.

 The trails vary in difficulty , some really tough sections , some not so tough . You might tell Ken that most everyone will be at Calvin's place on Sat .

If I can get cell service, I should be able to get Prarie Home Companion season opener on my phone and bluetooth it to the stereo in my trailer and outside.  This ain't the bleeding heard Garrison Keillor stuff but the new season of Chris Thile, mandolin and bluegrass master.

No promises.  Otherwise I'll be blasting the Dead & Co.  And I might do it anyway.
