I must be igorint. Why do you need a special tool for a castle nut? I've always just pulled the split pin and then used an ordinary socket.Would someone please enlighten me?
He's probably talking about that stupid "special" nut like they used on the front axle of the Centauro. No doubt off a WW2 Fiat fighter plane. They had a barrel full and had to use them somewhere.. just my guess.
Yeah, I am going to have to change the tires on the Daytona and I was wondering what I was going to do about that nut.

You must be talking about this one. I purchased mine from Moto International back in 2001 or so. They started out cheap and then the price was over $100. MG Cycle shows them now for $35
