New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
In case anyone interested in what it looks like:I selected the 'bomber jacket' leather for all surfaces:
OOOH, that's the Corbin? They were willing to leave that ugly Corbin label off for you then?
I put Corbin saddles on a BMW and a Buell. Both were well made but heavy, and neither fit properly without modifications.....
Ha! No option to delete the Logo, but you can request that it be done in black so it's pretty unobtrusive. I'll get a picture of it next time I have the bike out.
mjptexas: Did you have to pay extra to get the diamond quilt on the drivers saddle? Great looking seat. I am leaning towards chocolate brown myself to match the original suede seat as close as possible. Bike looks fantastic with the Corbin seat.
Bummer, but good tip. I'll keep it in mind. That's probably better than a Sharpie lol.
I sent the seat from my 2013 V7 Stone to Sargent & like what they did: a bit wider in front, flat from front to back, kept the logo.http://www.sargentcycle.com/
Regarding the riding position on the V7: my perception is the riding position on the Corbin seat is just slightly lower than the stock seat, no more than an inch, but enough to notice it. However this doesn't translate to your feet being closer to the ground, primarily because of the width of the seat.As far as comfort is concerned, there is a reason I have one on the bikes I ride the most
Hmmm, that'll be a reason for me to exclude the Corbin, which too bad, because I like the look of it. I'm already considering lowered pegs, or rear sets to open up my thigh-to-torso angle, which is way more comfortable for me with my lower back/sciatica issues (gee, I sound like an old geezer like some of the rest of the people on here ).
Stevet, how does your seat feel to you and roughly what did it cost? Thanks, Robert
The diamond quilt design is standard. The seat as delivered did not have any extra cost options.

I understand the concern about the tight fit with your legs. I've thought about making the same changes. Every time I get on the V7 (either seat) my first thought is "gee, this is a little cramped", but the thought passes in the first mile. I don't have any discomfort after a long ride. I thought a little more about my Corbin seat comments. The riding position does change a little, but it may be just as attributable to the fact that with the solo seat you naturally sit a little farther back on the bike which changes your leg angle to the foot pegs and slightly increases your reach to the bars. Again, the change isn't great but it is noticeable.

Does Sargent offer a complete seat for the V7, or only service to modify an existing one?I'm really happy with the Sargent on my F800GT. I've had Corbins in the past, and have been satisfied with the comfort, but, they're heavy beasts, plus the one on my VFR800 didn't work with the H&B side case mounts w/o some modifications.
So I bit the bullet and bought a seat just like yours today. Thanks for all your input into this seat! In lieu of owning a Racer I decided to go with the dark chocolate brown leather and black Corbin logo. Now I just have to pick up an OEM two seater for when the mood strikes my missus (or kids) to go for a quick jaunt around the back roads here in my neck of the woods.
l was out my V7 last evening. Hard to beat a Corbin seat.
