Looking for Le Mans handlebar switch

Hello Folks, in case someone has one laying around collecting dust, I am in need of a right hand (Throttle side) switch assembly for my 85 Lemans IV. This is the rather strange switch assembly that has the high/low beam toggle on the throttle side....I sometimes wonder what the heck Guzzi was thinking with that arrangement, not to mention the" up down" turn signal switch setup on the other side!
Thanks in advance,
Rick.

I can understand you wanting to keep the switchgear original, as i did in the early days, but there will come a time when you are sick of them letting you down at inopportune times and trying to fix contacts that have melted themselves into the plastic housing............
.....just saying.

Double D, I am not all that anal about keeping the switchgear original, like on my Cal II i got rid of all the" lego" switches, and went with a tommasselli daytona throttle etc., but on this lemans, the switch housings are part of the master cylinder /throttle, and the clutch lever mount on the left side. I would have to change all the levers, throttle, front brake MC. Its quite an undertaking, and I already have a new switch assembly on the clutch side.

As you point out, Guzzi did us no favors by combining that questionable and unique switch with the also unique trapezoidal master cylinder. As a result, you have to change
everything
to change
anything
.
That being said, I have a spare of the switch in question. It looks very good from the outside. On the inside one terminal shows evidence of overheating. I'll test continuity and function and see how it works electrically. As you can imagine, this switch will have a much easier and longer life when you convert the headlight to relays for high and low beams. In the meantime, if you're interested send me a PM and I'll send you a couple pictures and we see if it would suit your needs.

I don't have anything. BUT I may have the part of the switch that is bad. But LeRoys fix may be more affordable.

I overhauled the switch gear on the Lario, and did a tutorial in the Lario rehab thread. Once you get it working, put relays on everything, including the kill switch. They are very small wires and not the most robust pieces of copper in the world. They've worked fine since.
