Last Friday Oregon State MGNOC Rep and Rally Masters Gerri Jenkins (Mama Guzzi), and her husband Gary and myself spent a good portion of the day stuffing rally packets. The Oregon Guzzi Club is really looking forward to putting on a great rally for everyone. We have pre-entrys from all over the country. It's only a few weeks away. The picture below is of Gerri & Gary with Rally Shirts & Hats and all the rally packets. Click on pic. to see the full picture. See everyone in a few weeks.

Sending out a box of door prizes to Gerri tomorrow even though I got dissed for contributing to the National Rallies.

I've had some questions about sending rally fees. At this point it doesn't make any difference if you send the rally fee in early, as there's no difference in price. If you know you're attending for sure and want to pay at the rally, you could send a quick email to Gerri just for a head count.  Her email is   mamaguzzi@gmail.com. We're getting more excited every day. Thanks for your support.

Anyone hanging around after it ends? I cannot make the rally but am riding up from Reno the following week, always wanted to see the Oregon high desert.

We'll finish packing this evening. Two or maybe three days droning across the plains should put us at Red Lodge, Montana, where I'll pull the MZ out and ride.
Should make the rally late Wednesday or early Thursday. Look us up, make yourself known. I love meeting WG peeps.  Beers on me.  :boozing:

Thanks for the tip, Tom. This will give me the opportunity to run Beartooth one more time.  :thumb: Camp around Red Lodge Sunday night, and take Beartooth into Yellowstone Monday morning. Should be able to find a campground in Yellowstone Monday morning.

In that general area there are several little cafes attached to game farms.  You can get all sorts of 'exotic' (read that NOT BEEF OR CHICKEN) burgers.  Galen and I have had some really superb buffalo, antelope, elk, etc at some of the most unlikely looking little joints with paddocks out back.  One place almost blew our iron butt SS1000 schedule with their slow service, but we still agreed it was some of the best buffalo we've had.

No way, Bill.   I figure 2.5 days 1 way(riding straight up the middle of Nevada) but I'm going back the curvy way in norCal to make up for all the non-curvy roads I live around now.   After I  flat spot my tires riding to JD I gotta wear the sidewalls to match the tread wear.
