Need help with Eldorado saddlebag mounting

I found out that Dad had bags mounted from a 1972 Harley XLH, took some serious searching but I found a pair with the mounts.  My problem is they mount to the shock mount and rear seat bolt.  The shock stud does not have enough threads on it, is there a longer one?  Looks like I'm also missing a spacer that should go on the bolt for the rear seat mount.  Does anyone know how long that spacer is?  Thanks for your help.  If anyone is curious what a HD Sportster hard bag looks like here is a picture.

On my DB bags there is an offset bracket.  Go to Home Depot or equivalent and get some metal and bend it to suit.

The wixom set up used a long nut that supplied extra female threads , then you put a bolt thru the bag bracket

I was just thinking about calling you :-) but you just answered my question.  Guess it's time to blow the dust off my lathe and start making stud extensions.  Thanks.

For the shock stud mount, I use metric coupling nuts from McMaster-Carr:

The spacer between the grab rail and frame is 15 mm long.

Thanks Charlie, I ordered  a bunch of them since I don't like cutting internal threads on a lathe.  Should be easy to make the spacers.
