To your example... no. It's not worth that much, because *nobody is willing to pay that much*.

As soon as someone does... presto. That's what it's worth.

I am pretty heavy into the SOHC CB750 world, I understand this phenomenon very well. Non-running, basket cases, missing 40% of their parts, being priced at $1800. But people are *paying it*. Which pisses me off to no end, but... it is what it is.

Can't blame a guy for wanting make money. There's a sucker born every minute, and sometimes, they aren't even suckers.., they just have enough money to get what they want.

Great until the bottom falls out of the market , and it almost always does . There is a guy not far from me that was buying every Model A Ford in any condition that he could find . He built a pole barn to store them in , and was willing to pay top dollar . Last time we had contact he asked if I wanted to buy one really cheap , as the values had cratered and he was left with about 20 that were worth about 25% what he had paid

I know a guy selling a '76 (I t hink) near me.  Know anyone who'd be interested?

Do we know if those are real bids? The bid history looks fishy. I liked E-bay better when you could see who was bidding.

Just wanted to clear one thing on on the ebay auction.   This bike is NOT being sold by Ron Kologiski,  it is being sold by his son Ronnie Kologiski.  Ron Kologiski has nothing to do with this Train Wreck....  I think Ronnie is wanting 15 grand for this work of art   :boozing:
