Why do the cubes in the top ice cube tray always come out easily when the ones in the lower tray(s) need a hot-water treatment to remove them?

Do they? If that is the case I had never noticed.

Of course, after they had frozen you could fool them by swapping them over. Then would both come out easily. :thumb:

Actually, no you can't - I've tried it. There is some speculation that it has to do with whether the water freezes from the top down or from the bottom up, but I'm skeptical.

Must be quite a few people that study ice for a living.

Gather and Sell it.

Buy it.

Fight it!

That's the first thing I've heard today that made any sense.

Why do even knowledgeable folks insist on referring to the act of operating a motorcycle as
"driving" ? NO NO NO NO NO . You drive a car or a golf ball , you ride a horse or a motorcycle .
There , whew , been holding that in for years

In Germany, you "drive" (fahren) your car, your motorbike and your bicycle. You even "drive" on a roller coaster. One of the few things you actually "ride" is a horse. Oh, and you can "ride" a wave too.

I always left my ausfahrting in Australia. Of course, I may have done the odd one in Austria... :undecided:

Shouldn't they always be 'aus'? Dang uncomfortable otherwise...
