I'm doin' good - I know 4 out of 9 of those! Five if you mean 'The Sky Kings'...
You should know Jimmy Thackery , he played with the Nighthawks and the Cate Brothers for years . Great guitar player . The GAP band were some Tulsa boys , I knew 2 of the brothers involved . The Greenwood and Archer Project . Dusty
So if you wish to talk about any other obscure Progressive Rock bands please...let's do!
The Cate Brothers from Arkansas . Long career , several albums , absolutely one of the greatest live bands ever , almost unknown outside of our area . In about 1984 the Stones wanted the Cate Bros to tour Europe with them . The Cates said "no , we're on vacation" About Leo Kotke , he grew up here in Muskogee , so yeah , he sounds like an Okie Oh , one more , Steve Pryor and the Mighty Kingsnakes . Dusty

I can't see or hear Leo Kottke's name without being reminded of the Garrison Keillor groaner pun when he introduced him on his program:"He's from a famous American musical family, his ancestor is Francis Kottke" (you have to say it out loud it to understand it).
he played with the Nighthawks
Well, since you say, how about Ekseption?
Dusty, are you familiar with local band "Turkey Mountain Troubadours"...they have been together for 40 years...one of my best friends play organ with them.
I was a big fan of "Go" Stomu Yamashta had the likes of Steve Winwood, Al Di Meola, Klaus Schulze Michael Shrieve. so much Talent .not to be confused with the current punk band called "go"
The best bar band in the land. Used to go every time they were at the Vogue in Indy, saw them in NC, and bikeweek at Daytona beach. High energy, always good, never made it big. Last saw them again in Indy at the Slippery Noodle about 4-5 years ago.
