It's always the Second Saturday of the month.
Come be chilly with us. :)

Here's the CL ad complete with map:

https://morgantown.craigslist.org/eve/d/pursglove-euro-brit-japanese-bike/7799440366.html

Our little bike meet at the Rising Creek Bakery in Mt. Morris, PA.  Casual with only one rule- no jagoffs.  A variety of folks and bikes show up, from a 1938 Harley to latest generation Multistrada.  We honestly do not care what you ride, just show up have a cup of coffee and a doughnut and shoot the breeze.

And we need more Guzzis.  Hell, life needs more Guzzis.

Ok, now that I look at that first picture, that's funny as hell.  :)

Wish I could make it, on at least a semi-regular basis anyway. :undecided:

I'm working on a few things though that should seriously free up my available bike travelin' times.
Meanwhile, have a couple for me, after the ride, of course  :boozing:

Sounds like fun.

Is there something like a "Jagoff Detector", like a metal detector, at the gate?   Or maybe a Jagoff Recognition Chart, like the old Airplane Recognition Charts so you could tell if it was a Mosquito or a JU-88?

It's been remarkably jagoff free.  We've had a lot of folks show up, but there's only been a handful of annoying types.  Mostly BMW guys.  (Just kidding, Cookie.  :)  )

Kind of amazing really considering the fairly large amount of jagoffs in the biker population on the whole but our meet has been described as "Old farts on Triumphs" by a young guy who wasn't good at bike ID but wasn't too bad at describing people.

He lost the run of himself.

It's the ad that attracts a jagoff-free crowd.

This Saturday from 10:00 am to Noon.
At Rising Creek Bakery in Mt. Morris, PA. We aren't affiliated with the bakery, they are just nice enough to let us have our little monthly meet up there. In the lower parking lot.
Just a bunch of folks on a variety of machines. Euro bikes. Scooters. Adventure and dual sport bikes. Commuters. Japanese, Euro, etc. Harleys too.
Beginners and advanced riders welcome. Family friendly.
Just a chance to BS with other riders.
Coffee and conversation. Nothing too organized. The bakery:

http://risingcreekbakery.com/

Usually about 2 dozen bikes. No attitudes-- laid back, casual, and fun.

We have a FaceBook page if you're interested. Search for:

Cafe Racer, Classic & British/European Motorcycles of Morgantown!

Buell, Moto Guzzi, Ariel, Matchless, Norton, BSA, Triumph, Ducati, MV Augusta, MZ, Harley, Laverda, Moto Morini

Now, suppose the ad was:

ROARING BURNOUT SUNDAY!   HARLEYS ONLY!   AT BOB'S COUNTRY BUNKER SALOON AND TATTOO PARLOR!

HELL RAISING!   RICEBURNER BONFIRE!   BEER TRUCK!   WET T-SHIRT CONTEST!  SAND DRAGS!

COME AND RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE.   OL' LADY HOT-DOG EATING CONTEST!   LIVE MUSIC WITH "THE HONKERS" ("Root Boy Slim and the Sex Change Band" tribute band!)

BIKES!  BROADS!  BEER!   IT'S OVER WHEN THE LAST MAN'S STANDING!

Whaddaya think?   Think there might be a jagoff or two for that event?

Our long distance rider, I believe.

This one happened to be riding past and joined in.

Broke down on a ride we took last year.  Repaired clutch input splines and remortgage the house and it's back on the road.

Old farts on Triumphs.

He was making a deal to sell this as I left.

Pretty.

About 20 today, I think.  Good crowd and lovely weather.

That's quite an interesting and esoteric collection of bikes.

If I'd been there, the negotiations for that R5 would have been a bit more competitive, not to say spirited!

He's letting it go for a song.  Very tempted myself.

Oh, and one more.  I rarely see these in the wild.

The random photos include old bikes with luggage, bikes with tank-bags, good riding gear laying about, and a grand-baby.    Definitely a good meet-up!

Heads up.  This Saturday.  Always nice to see more Guzzis, but there are other bikes I'd like to see even more.  Becoming more fascinated with small bikes and scooters lately.  Tu250, VanVan or SR400 would be awesome.

Women riders and passengers are always great.

Know a woman on a VanVan?  Send her over.

Great turnout today, about 30 bikes.  From '48? Panhead to a new Versys 300.  Both very cool.  I won't bore you with pics of all of them, just some highlights.

This 550 was absolutely cherry.

I forget how great these bikes look until I see one in person.

Scooter!  Yay!  Aprilia 500

Nice young lady rode in on this

The Panhead was a '56 (if it matters; he's a friend of a friend). Really nice crowd and a lot of bikes not seen before at the event.

And no hint of rain at all! Pretty stormy at my house now . . .

Thanks, George, I figured you'd know what year that Pan was.

Weather is supposed to be great.  I'm on call at work, but hoping they leave me alone long enough to go out and mingle.
