New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Nice looking ride my friend! Can you give any additional info like the current milage, does the bike need anything like new tires, any issues at all, still has the original straight-cut gears, how will the bike be sold (eBay), where is the bike located (which State)?I always wanted one of those 1100 Spots..... :)Andy
Rob, when you say two finger, you ain't kidding! I'd say one finger. If you have been riding another bike recently, better get used to it before going too far.Mistrals cans are just right, nice sound, w/o being too loud. If someone has a back problem, switch the clip-ons left to right. Helps a bit.
These are not City bikes. They like to keep rolling. The worse part about owning one is stopping somewhere. It will draw a crowd. Every time I rode mine, people would roll down their windows or walk across parking lots to see it. They are not a delicate or fragile motorcycle. Very well built and solid.
Very nice bike. My only real issue is that unlike say an 850 LM, when you give it a serious thrashing you are going a serious speed. That and getting into a heavy traffic situation.
True story yogi, I was trying to be conservative and make the statement believable... you are correct though, one finger pull and be ready. I forgot to mention the Heli-Bars... Mike had tried the swap and that was better however, just that little bit more up and back from the Heli-Bars made all the difference. Even though the Heli-Bars are made right here in Maine I had a bugger of a time to locate a set. I found a set New on Fleabay about a year after Mike bought the Sport. perhaps the last set known to exist. When I was using mine on a regular basis I put a set of Verlicchi multi adjustable bars on my '97 Sporti, huge help.Best,RobTrue, not a great in-town ride in my estimation, likes to get out and run. And not for the faint of heart, brutal in almost every aspect, a real visceral machine. And that first statement is exactly why my '97 Sporti had to leave. At sixty plus I still did not have the brains to keep my fist out of the happy handle, I will not go into how many "Performance Awards" I have been handed, I'll leave that for telling stories around the campfire. ;) We do not have heavy traffic situations here...Ciao,Rob
