Although I have Asperger's Syndrome I am not a whiney leftist looking for free stuff and the next thing to offend me. When in the filming of the documentary, "Vectors of Autism" I described that while my sister wants me to avail myself of all sorts of entitlements that I would rather be me. I said then, ". . .I guess I'm a Hard Aspie." I like that pun. I like the handle and use it often. Yeah, it fits.

In 2004 I bought my Stone, a left over 2002 model with the "Flint Orange" paint.  The dreamsicle orange color reminded me of the "190 Octane" from Fat Tuesdays.

I'm a glider pilot, so cloudbase is where I hang out.  Well, 500 ft. below cloudbase.  Really!
Don't know about the states but in Oz when at or below 3,000' AGL the requirement is to remain clear of cloud, although I admit it's a hazardous practice.

Dilligaf's screen name did not fit who he really was , he departed this mortal coil about 5 months ago.

Giusto

Giusto Gervasutti was an Italian Mountaineer from Como. He, though not as well known as his Italian counterparts Walter Bonatti and Riccardo Cassin, was likely the finest mountaineer of his time by far.

Before I registered my account I never really thought about it. I thought long and hard, faced with endless possibilities, really agonizing over it. Should I keep it simple, creative, clever, absurd, cryptic. After 30 exhaustive seconds of this it came to me. I chose what would forever remain a mystery.

When I was a penniless student - a few ( ?? ) years ago - I had a shitty old Renault with a surfboard fin glued to the roof. My name is Mike - so therefore became Spike the Fin - then I embraced the Irish Republican cause ( Irish girlfriend ) and so became Spike McFinn

It's stuck
Life's like that

I had been following the forum for a while and didn't own a guzz. I came up with this user name cuz it was apropos before and after I bought my Breva 750.
It changed from a personal lament to an admonishment to non guzzi owners

RCAF call sign. I was the Sqn Adjutant (Majordomo) back in the early 90s and my office was next to the CO's (the King). Every time a young pilot would get himself into hot water, he'd be directed to "the office", and it became common practice to pop in to see me first to find out how deep. Lion King was all the rage at the time, Zazu was an easy tag ...   :cheesy:
