I had been following the forum for a while and didn't own a guzz. I came up with this user name cuz it was apropos before and after I bought my Breva 750.
It changed from a personal lament to an admonishment to non guzzi owners

Great name.

It was an email account name I created to answer a "help wanted" ad for a supervisory position in one of those " soldier of fortune " magazines.

I just used the first letter of each of the words in the advertisement heading.

" Nanotechnology operations resistance management (zoological option) needs employees "

I didn't get the job but the interview was very interesting.

I tried to use my current profession, "Master_of_Universe" but it was already taken. So, I just used my former profession.

Bought a 1972 Mercedes 280 SE 4.5 in the mid 80s.
Doctors drove Mercedes (I'm not a doctor)
One of my friend's nephews couldn't remember my name.
He referred to me as Dr. (because of the Mercedes) Burt (because he couldn't remember my name, but knew it started with a B).
That name stuck with me in that circle of friends.
Now you know.

I think (under the heading of "Occam's Razor") that he's saying that his screen name of 'little750' comes from the fact that he owns a Breva 750, which might be considered 'little' compared to the big-block Guzzis ... ?

I got that.  I was referring to the "nuff said" part.  Usually, when thrown in, it's part of a arms folded and a challenge to others.

According to the Revised Oxford Urban Slang Dictionary, it's only an arms-folded Challenge if you use two "f"s in "nuff".

He only used used one ("nuf"), so that's like an EOM marker with no challenge implied.

My real name is Ken, and like so many kids in my generation the name is very popular. I worked in computers when mainframes were all the rage and technicians were flaky. The technicians liked to come by my area where there were 3 or 4 Ken's on most occasions and yell, "Hey Ken!" just to see how many of us would respond. Soon we would only respond to our surnames, which got modified. Woltman became Wolfman,  Deak became Dick, and Applegate became, Apple whatever (bee, yard, pie, etc.) which I generally ignored so it morphed from Applesauce to Motts Applesauce and then just became Motts.

I don't enjoy flying much, but I'm as comfortable on a Dash-8 as any other airliner.   They seem like one of those designs like a DC-3 that's just done right and lasts a long time.   I got to use them a lot because for years they've been the only type flying in and out of our regional airport ....

My name is Marc and my race car number for 20 years was 01. AOL won't let you start a screen name with a number so I had to use the "o", hence the o1marc.
