New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Hello All,I am a first time owner of a Moto Guzzi. Today I bought a 1999 Cali EV. I am new to riding a Guzzi, but my father has a couple..... I am the son of Stormtruck 2. (Insert any condolences here ;D ). I wanted to weigh in on the origin of my User Name. I studied law enforcement in college P:) , and love the movie Tombstone hence the LawDawg. I have also been an EMT for 7 years.Regards
I like to ride gravel as fast as I can......on my KLR650 and was gravelklr for several years on TWT (two-wheeled Texans). Pronounced "gravelkiller" I chose it because my MIL took one look at the new 2007 KLR and said "Great, it says KILLER on the side!" But then my buddies and newfound friends started calling me Gravel Guy and it just stuck. I weighed my Quota 1100ES on the Co-op scales the other day with panniers and 1/2 tank of gas.....600lbs! I'm not scared to take her off-road but won't be speeding/ sliding/ jumping like with the KLR. ;-T
From Robert Johnson's Preachin' Blues (Up Jumped the Devil):"Travel on, poor Bob. Just can't turn you 'round..."
In the old Ren and Stimpy cartoon, Stimpy wrote a poem to his favorite cat litter company saying that he likes it because it "Stays crunchy even in milk!"
Love it!Have you heard Delta Moon? They do Son House's version and it's killer. My pseudonym is Maynard G Krebs, a tv character played by Bob Denver (later to be Gilligan) on an old show called Dobie Gillis. Maynard was a beatnik who liked jazz and bongos but did not like work. Seemed like a good alter ego for me. P.s. I am not quite old enough to have watched Dobie Gillis when it first came out!
Hey, I Know what the "N" on the North Dakota football helmets if for... "Noledge!"
Had a little Subaru Brat since 1997. A Subaru forum was the first forum I ever joined. Almost everything I typed in had been taken.
I just like the name, along with the Royal Navy.
