New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Hello everybody! My name is Krunoslav, I am 54 y.o. motorcycle enthusiast from Croatia (Europe) and have a 1989 Moto Guzzi Mille GT (beside two other bikes). I bought that bike two years ago with approx. 25000 kilometers (15500 miles), in visually good condition, but (as it seems) with no maintenance ever, except for the basic service.
Hi from GA USA. I've been riding since 97. I'm 65 now and retired for awhile now. sold my last bike which was a bmw s1000xr. I've had a lot of various italian bikes over the years. and have been looking at the V7 for some years now. The 26 V7 sport seems to have added quite a bit to the model.I admit I'm torn as the 24-25 V7s are available for a good price, but really like the specs of the 26 sport.I'm looking for just a tooling around type of ride, no more touring.Chris
Where you at Chris, got the 120mi from dealer over at GT site, I don't need a dealer. Haven't been in one since I quit working there. I'm 45mi NE of ATL
Greetings and welcome, Duncan! Please tell us more.
Hello everyone,Chris50New Braunfels, Texas Riding for 30 plus years, started looking for a Guzzi a couple of years ago and was set on a V11 Lemans to complement my Ducati 900ss CR. Missed out on a few and never considered a Stelvio 1200, never a fan of the adventure bike until taking a 1500 mile trip through Washington State on a Yamaha Super Tenere, then I understood what those bikes are about. Just purchased a low mile 2015 Stelvio 1200 NTX and love it. Appreciate all the valuable information from everyone found here on Wild Guzzi!
Welcome, Griso's are very addicting.
Hi there.I'm Ivan, I'm a 41 year old farmer from Kilkenny, Ireland. I'm into Brazilian Jiujitsu and biking and anything outdoorsy. Always had a bike as my main mode of transport up until I had my first child 12 years ago. Had to sell my beloved 99 Honda VFR 800. Anyway I'm not at the stage where I could finally get back on a bike.... house built etc. etc. I always had a thing for Moto Guzzis ever since a guy in college had one and I saw it up close and thought it was lovely. A 2007 Breva 1100 came up within my (rather small) budget. It came with side panniers, which was a big draw for me to this bike. I love the practicality and the fact that it looks good with the boxes on, but they can be taken off easily too and you're not left with big ugly brackets. I hope to throw a small tent on the back and head off for a few overnighters or weekend trips next summer, so have plenty of time to get to grips with the bike after such a long time off.So far so good, apart from the fact that she seems to run very hot and I don't think there is an engine temperature read out to keep an eye on things. Fro what I have read they do run hot, but it seems to me a bit too hot even after short spins.I am going to change the oil and filter first to make sure it has that much right before I go do anything more drastic and expensive, but I can see myself needing the help of some more experienced views in relation to fuel mapping etc. Happy to be part of the group
