New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I am the owner of a 93 1000S VIN 250023, #23 of 84 built in 1993. Green (of course). I know that it's a desirable and rare bike. I'm considering selling it. It is in very good condition. About 25K miles. It has original paint, wire rims, seat, etc. only modifications are "old style" tail light and blinkers (have originals) and Conti replicas and (I do not have the original mufflers). Runs and sounds great!I guess that I'm inquiring what the current value is on this bike as well as the best way to market this bike should I decide to sell it. I haven't seen any current sales of any 1000S' in a few years.Pat
Pat sent me pictures,
I'd say low 5 figures. Others may differ..
I think the first two snotty comments in the topic went something like these:
This sounds like an earlier poster who was vague and sounded a whole lot like Savannah John.
While the big valve motor might be 'more desirable' from a max hp standpoint.. Doesn't the mid valve have more midrange umph??Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
if that green thing without the headlight is the bike for sale, tell me how much you want for it, and I will think it over.
what a shame Big Block, I could have looked adequately mean and cool, astride that lovely piece of machinery
Well.....I took some pictures of my 93 'S' this morning. If you like "Guzzi Porn", I'll take a few of a couple other bikes as I bring them out of hibernation.Pathttp://s1263.photobucket.com/user/psmitty1/slideshow/93%201000S
