Glacier Road to the Sun was wonderful also...on that same trip a couple years ago I stayed with some friends in Kalispell and Whitefish for a few days, did some hiking in the park and enjoyed seeing those old Red Jammer cars before riding Road to the Sun from West to East.  Visiting Two Medicine on the east side was also a very nice stop along the way before heading back after sticking a toe into Canada at the border.

There is something really special about riding thru Yellowstone down to the Tetons if you can make it and not have much traffic to contend with...truly a magical place...

Gotta give a helping hand when possible.  I got a bunch of Ironman logo stuff that I'm sending up for door prizes.  Tees, backpacks and one doo rag.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉 Hawaii.

You are welcome , it required at least 15 seconds of total concentration on my part   Seriously Steve , I know from experience the work involved in putting on small rallies , a National must take tremendous effort

You ought to volunteer to take tickets for the dinner.  You won't believe the crappo people will give you while you volunteer to help out.

No problems with that at Cedar Vale or the Okie , I might suggest hiring Stormtruck or Guzzistajohn to man the complaint booth , seems to work for us . LOL .

At the NH rally last year, I got loud in my best wrestling mat-side coach's voice and told them that I volunteering.  If they had problems they can talk to Randy.  I kinda' threw him under the bus but he's was the rally master.

I'll be there....but with only 155 miles to John Day, I may need to find a little detour getting there.

That area of Oregon is beautiful, so everyone should have a great time!  I wish I could go this year, but work priorities prevail....  I will ride to another National one of these years, God willing...

There is a contingency of Arizona riders going, I believe, including our own AZ MGNOC Rep, Jimbo "The Grand Poo-Bah" McDermott, and I asked him to take plenty of photos for us left behind! :thumb:

I just talked with Rick, the owner of Moto Guzzi-Aprilia Portland and he confirmed that he will have demo bikes at the rally. So far he's bringing a Norge, Eldo, and V7, and checking on something else. Hope you can make it.

Roy -- are you going to be there?  I need some help with tach sensors/pickups (magnets).  I don't expect to solve the problem before I put the trike on the barge.  I can however get all the wire ends accessible.

The actual dates are June 23rd to June 25th meaning we are out of there Saturday June 25rd if I understand this . No fairwell breakfast Sunday morning on the 26th at the fairgrounds like the last National ?
A bit of confusion today as a fellow rider here thinks Saturday is the big day with everyone leaving Sunday morning from the fairgrounds and John day in general . I tried to tell him otherwise but he wasn't convinced . Should we be planning to stay over Saturday night as well ?
Please correct me if I'm wrong and I'll book another day in our motel .

Thanks ,

Steve

Sorry for the confusion, but if you read the rally flyer, it reflects Thurs-Sat. night camping and a continental breakfast on Sunday morning. I hope this clears this up. Thanks for asking the question. See you in John Day.

Yep, pretty much like any other rally. Sunday morning is for packing up, saying the last good byes and hitting the road.
